This sculpture is one of my first, derived from my wax model. I positioned the form in the semi-log to produce grain patterns that highlighted her shoulders and butt; I reversed the direction of her flowing hair from that in my model in order to utilize the wood grain pattern. I have many wax models that are available for use in commissioned work.
