This sculpture is one of my first derived from my wax model.  I positioned the form in the semi-log to produce grain patterns that highlighted her shoulders and butt; I reversed the direction of her flowing hair from that in my model in order to utilize the wood grain pattern.  (I have many wax models that are available for use in commissioned work.)
